Altadena took the hardest hit of the January 2025 Eaton Fire — most of the more than 9,400 structures it destroyed were in this unincorporated foothill community, with west Altadena hit especially hard. Rebuilding is moving block by block: lots have been cleared, foundations are going in, and the first fully rebuilt homes received certificates of occupancy in December 2025. JW Enterprises backs that work with porta potties, hand washing stations, and temporary power for owner-builders and general contractors, serviced on a regular schedule until each home is finished. 75-plus years on the California coast.
